IPhone / iPad & HL-L2360DW Combo

I just purchased a brother printer (HL-L2360DW) about a month ago that I use wirelessly and I must log into the printers IP address and change a setting and reset the printer before iPrint&Scan is able to connect to the printer. This app should at least wake the printer up for the user when opened. The printer works just fine on the wireless network, the issue is only with my iOS devices. I have called brother support, apple care, and my internet service provider several times with no solution. The issue is with this app. Please fix it.
