Brother iPrint&Scan App Reviews

Just purchased a HL5370dw..took me 4 hrs to get it going with ipad2. ios9 if you want to use this app. you need to connect to the router with a rj45 cable first, then click search in your ipad app setting. once found and done..you need to lock the ip address of the printer in your router instead of auto assign. yes it can print wireless. but Brother could EASILY update the firmware of the 5370dw to include Airprint. expensive printer. New imprint is even worst...do not get Brothers printer.

When you try to configure Google cloud print, then you need to log on your Google account. I believe it doesnt support 2 factor identification cause as soon as I enter the confirmation number then the app crashes, then each time I click on Cloud print icon then its an automatic crash. I may try to get a specific password to get it done but still unacceptable that the app doesnt tell me to get one. Edit: downgraded to 1 star.

Sometime over the summer if 2016 the app updated and what a horrible update. It is now cumbersome and difficult to use. Before documents or pdf docs email etc, were easy to print now sometimes I cant even print what I used to be able to. Something is wrong, why update an app to make it harder to use and worse and harder for the users to use. I hope a fix will happen soon in another update, otherwise Im looking for another brand of printer

It scans maybe 60% of the time. Keep getting "Scan Error. Disk full" If you can figure out which disk they mean or how to free up space Ill send you five dollars. Click support? You get a stupid rabbit hole of support for the printer/scanner, nothing for the app. I have over 30 GB of free space on my phone, so that disk isnt full. I have 80GB free on my computer, so thats not it either. It was very difficult to set up as well. If you can - get a different scanner. This is an overall crap experience and very frustrating. I spend way too much time troubleshooting the most basic fu&^*ing things with this.

I was hoping that you can print from applications but you cant. You have to use the Brother app which is hugely limited. Running iPhone4S on IOS 9.3.5

I love this app :,) -Wireless scans right to my phone, then quick attach to email! - I synced APP with GOOGLE DRIVE, and can now Print right from GOOGLE DOCS! *wirelessly from IPHONE* It took a few days to get used to the app, and a bit of frustration. But I encourage anybody to sit for 5 MINS and play around with the app, or watch a tectorial! Make sure your printer and iphone are on the same wifi server. (Ask google for help)

This is amazing tool to have, especially you are on the go and need to scan or print something from your phone. No laptop or computer needed. Everything wireless! Absolutely loved the results and the scanned copy was useful to attach as an email attachment!

I never write reviews, so you know that this is a quality app. Simple, fast, and so easy to use. Absolutely amazing!!! Only downside is it requires iOS 9, but other than that its pretty solid

Cannot print 6 pages in 1 sheet. Id give 5 stars if they enable this feature....

Very useful would be an ability to choose dpi for printing and scanning. I own dcp1610we and cant check how much of a catridge there is left.

Whats the point of not implementing AirPrint in devices in favor to add-hocing apps for iOS?

App functions are good, but print quality is very low! PDFs, documents, web pages - they are printed like low-resolution JPEGs, but not like a normal text. At this time, print from MacBook is ok. Printer DCP-7057wr.

The application can see the MFC on the network but says that no services are available on it. The DCP7045 NR is in the compatibility list. App was so useful when was realy working. I have purchased HP MFC last weekend

Im living in Malta, my phone is Russian and language of the app is French . So how can I use it?

Used to work like a charm - I was so thrilled I was bragging to friends about how nifty an app this was for me! Literally used it every day. After the most recent update I noticed it stopped working. It now will tell me its printing to my printer via Google cloud print, but in the end it doesnt actually print. Please, I am begging you, fix this!!!!! MFC-L8850CDW.
