Brother iPrint&Scan App Reviews

Saw the same multiple negative reviews and also experiencing the same problems since upgrade. It work great when first installed, now it is useless. How long does it take to get a response from Brothers or whoever developed this app?

Please update soon! I need to print pictures!!!

Used to work like a charm - I was so thrilled I was bragging to friends about how nifty an app this was for me! Literally used it every day. After the most recent update I noticed it stopped working. It now will tell me its printing to my printer via Google cloud print, but in the end it doesnt actually print. Please, I am begging you, fix this!!!!!

The updated version has 100% crash rate on my phone.

Full of scratch! When open d app and select the document the app close!

Great, but the print function doesnt work after upgrade! It worked well before the update though. Now it is useless!

If I could give a negative review I would this was my birthday present and a month after my birthday they update it and now my brand new wireless printer I have to use my computer with wires again. Entire reason we bought this was so I could print from my iPad. Thanks for wasting my birthday money. #ruinedbirthdaygift

Just downloaded the app and it works great! Printed 2 documents without any problems in less than 30 seconds after downloading it.

Scan appeared to work just fine but results saved to iCloud cannot be found.

Dis game makes yummy paper. I ate my homework when I was young all da time. And dis paper taste almost as goooood. I made a song for de printer: Ohhh, when de paper turned bad tha people got mad and then came along Mr. Printer! He made good paper for tha people! Oh, he made paper for tha people! Love ya Mr. Printer!

I suppose its an extra step but it works fine for me when using print from clipboard on the brother 2280dw printer. Just hit copy in the application you want to print from. F.e. in iPhone notes app choose "copy" instead of "print". Then in the brother app print from clipboard.

Crashes a lot, and its especially annoying when Im trying to scan a lot of papers. Takes me forever to scan a 30-page document and have to break them up into small chunk...

You think in this day and age people would make an app THAT WORKS. Well this one doesnt. I cant access photos I want to print. So it is useless.

I really hoped this app would work but whenever I hit "done" the app crashes. D:

This app used to work perfectly before the update. Now I cannot print anything. Every time I select a photo and click done, it just closes the app. Please fix this. I need to print out something important.

Bought a brother printer to use this app with because my girlfriend has one and it WAS awesome. But there was an update and everything went bad. Fix it. Ridiculous.

Easy to use, no problems.

After upgrading the Brother app and finding out it no longer prints PERIOD. After running normal trouble shooting basics (i.e.: reinstall, rebooting, etc.) I called Brother to inform them of the problem; ability to still scan, but not print. They first used the excuse that the printer is not "AirPrint" compatible. Ignorant response, one, because scanning worked. Two, because the app WAS MADE TO CIRCUMVENT AIR-PRINT. After putting me on hold to... (your guess). They run me through the basic trouble routines again. Then finally, passing the buck, concludes the problem was with the iPad and suggesting I call Apple. Maybe Brother should hide their developers website and d just reinstate the earlier app that worked fine. After this, hopefully, gets resolved... I wont be upgrading without strong reason to do so.

Depend on this app for work-today cant get work done because it no longer prints any photos. Whatever you do, DO NOT UPDATE! It worked fine before the update. Now I am stuck and wish I could go back to the older version. PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP!!

Granted, I dont demand a lot of complexity from the app. It works really well to print out documents, webpages, etc. on the fly with my phone. I dont have much use for scanning via my iPhone & frankly I use my Windows based PC for scanning or creating pdf docs from jpgs, bursting & merging docs because the controls to scan or print in color vs grayscale & defining scan print & scan parameters are better in the Windows program on my PC vs on my iMac. The only downside is sometimes I forget that you cant access the printer directly through the print routine. You have to direct the app to whatever you need to print. For my use, it works great.
